TSC Application app for iPhone and iPad

Its a good app and the equalizer is good, but its still a little bit hard to find some music

I began noticing hearing loss about one year ago, a few months after my 24th bday. I was looking into music/sound apps to protect myself against sound-induced hearing loss, and I came across an article reporting on the app. Im impressed by the easy-to-use UI, and I like the app records the most used index, progress, and usage time. Im also impressed by the application of this tech to Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube. Sound clarity is phenomenal, and I do not experience ear aches while listening to music for 1-2 hrs. However, this app could use some improvement. For starters, the app only seems to stimulate the worst index instead of all five indices at the users self-determined hearing threshold. Im not sure why that is, because I imagine its better to stimulate all five indices at the hearing threshold instead of just one. It would also be great if I could look at my hearing thresholds for each index without returning to the recalibration window. Next, the search function for YouTube often does not return the results Im looking for: Ill often spend a lot of time trying to find something which would only take a fraction of the time using YouTube itself. Im not sure if its an issue with the search algorithm, but this is my biggest issue with the app. Also worth mentioning - the sound is usually out-of-sync with the video. Last, sometimes the app will not catch if my volume has changed from 50%. Its happened a couple of times where Ive used the app for about an hour, only to realize my volume was adjusted to 40% instead of the required 50%. Small, rare issue, but still frustrating. Those issues aside, I really enjoy using the app. If those features were fixed/added, I would give the app a 5/5 rating. Im curious to see where the app goes from here.

This app is too good. Hearing experience has turned into a new era.

I have hearing deficiencies in both ears. Using this app the music sound fuller and is more enjoyable. Thanks for providing a great app.

I really like this app. The volume slider needs some work as it is not very responsive. I would like to have this app made available for my desktop Mac.

As Orange-pekoe noted, the app doesnt allow us to play musics in original orders. Instead, songs are lined up in a simple alphabetical order. The developer said in the post they fixed it, but I dont see it. At least I dont know how to sort songs in the original album order. The app has a good idea, and will be better and more practical when the developer truly fixes the inconvenience.

I gave it permission to play my music and it still crashes every time I try to play it. After five minutes of trying to get it to work I gave up.
